Purchase of the investigation and surveillance equipment

Project summary

The purchase of the specialised equipment has been completed in line with the terms and conditions set out in the Grant Agreement-101059393-FCIS2021. The action was composed of the purchase and bringing into operation of the investigation tools and hands-on training for FCIS criminal intelligence and investigation staff.

The implementation of the action has improved the intelligence and operational capacities of FCIS and ensured effective technical support of the regional departments; strengthened digital data collection and analytical capacities of the intelligence staff; expanded data sharing via the international information systems and strengthened international cooperation to facilitate the fight against financial crimes at national and European Union’s level.
