  • Takes decisions under international sanctions legislation on application of individual exemptions from financial sanctions (restrictions on the disposal of funds and economic resources) or on authorisations to exempt from restrictions and obligations;

Legal persons or other organisations not having the status of a legal person, which have been identified by the Financial Crime Investigation Service as being owned or controlled by the sanctioned entity, may apply to the Financial Crime Investigation Service for the annulment of the decision.

Ensures the implementation of international sanctions in the transport sector, in cases where the restrictions relate to the movement of all modes of transport to and from the European Union and across the territory of the European Union, as well as on access to the European Union market.

 

It also ensures equal practice in the implementation of international sanctions when restrictions are imposed on exports and imports of goods, services and technology related to the transport sectors.
