Project „Updating of the Intelligence and Technical Basis and Development of Integrated Data Management Platform of the Financial Crime Investigation Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania”

Basis

National programme of the Internal Security Fund (2014-20) under the Instrument for financial support for police cooperation, crime prevention and the fight against cross-border, serious and organised crime. The budget of the project is 1 385 088 Euros.

Project duration

Implementation of the project started on 1 March 2016.  The planned duration of the project is 36 months.

Project objective and purpose – prevention of crime and fight against cross-border, serious and organised crime.

Project description – the improvement of the  intelligence and technical basis covered by the funding of the Internal Security Fund will allow collecting intelligence in a more quick and effective way  and exchanging it with other state institutions and the European Union member states more rapidly.
