On 22 June 2022 (with ongoing updates), the European Commission issued the document "Consolidated FAQs on the Implementation of Council Regulations No 833/2014, No 269/2014, (EU) No 692/2014, and (EU) 2022/263" (hereinafter referred to as the FAQs).

This document is a working document drafted by the Commission services to give guidance to national authorities, EU operators and citizens for the implementation and the interpretation of Council Regulation (EU) No 833/2014, Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014, Council Regulation (EU) No 692/2014 and Council Regulation (EU) 2022/263. By analogy, the FAQs therein also apply to Council Regulation (EC) No 765/2006. 

The Service notes that, in order to ensure the uniform application of sanctions across the European Union, national competent authorities follow the FAQs, and therefore, it is recommended that economic operators and individuals operating in the Republic of Lithuania also refer to them.
